The location might be great but the buck stops here. The "decor" of the restaurant is very downscale but the prices imply that you are at a much classier spot. I paid at least $14 for a sandwich with a nasty side salad and it left a lot to be desired. The turkey was salty and the sandwich could have been made by a 4 year old as it was so simple and plain. I second that the restaurant is hard to find (Ocean Two Building) but if you are not staying there then you have to go around through the beach entrance and out back. Parking can be found below the bridge if you are lucky and its not a weekend. This place could be so much more than it is.

Usually go here for lunch so I can't tell you how the place is at night. Having a drink with your feet in the sands us the best part. Obviously a great location and scenery with being on the beach. I usually get the duck with the sauce on the side and the wine selection is great. Just ask the chef what he recommends based on your food

Absolutely gorgeous location. It really doesn't get any better than having lunch in the sunshine and open air, just steps away from the beach. The restaurant itself is hard to find though. It is built in to the Ocean Two building, but only accessible from the beach. We had to ask several people before we learned that we had to find metered parking across the street from the Ocean Two and then walk up the public beach access path to reach the restaurant. The staff were friendly, not overly enthusiastic but not off-putting. My fiancée and I both ordered beers when we arrived, which came with frosty glasses--a nice touch. She ordered the tuna salad sandwich and fries, and I ordered the spaghetti with tomato cream sauce and shrimp. The entrees arrived quickly; unfortunately, however, my pasta was served sans shrimp and I had to flag the server down and wait for the shrimp to be brought out separately. I did enjoy the pasta, though, and my fiancée loved her sandwich. All in all, an average dining experience in an enjoyable setting.

Don't come here on the weekends. Service is very bad and the person in charge of giving you a table is very unwelcoming and cocky.

The only one and only restaurant "feet in the sand"! It might be difficult to find the first time but it's so worth it. The food is fresh and delicious, the menu is varied and complete, the portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. Everyone will find something to their taste. Enjoy the breeze from the beach, feet in the sand and a drink in your hand.

What a perfect lunch spot! Feet in the sand ocean close enough to touch. Lovely staff and delicious food. You won't be sorry if you're looking for a beachy casual lunch! We had had the merguez lamb sausage and country pate Perfect for sharing. Will definitely be back

Totally unique. Located right on the beach in sort of the basement of a new fancy high rise Condo, is this little hole in the wall. You must walk down the beach access, across the sand, and find the 6 or so tables. However, the food was great. Duck, Rabbit, fish, and chicken heavily sauced. If you don't like the sauce get it on the side. I lived my pepper sauce on the Duck and was glad I did not get it on the side. Mahi (dolphin) was cook just right and was tender and flaked apart perfectly. The lemon and caper sauce was devine. Lemony, but devine. Dining on the beach was wonderful. Wine was reasonably priced. Service was quick, personal, and professional. Don't miss this place. There are not any other places like this.

Been in Miami for 30 years and have never discovered this place. We are so happy to have discovered this place and will be a regular customer as much as we can. Moules frit just like in Marseille.

I feel so lucky to have Tahiti so close to home! It's a hidden gem with delicious food in Sunny Isles Beach. I have to say that this city has some of the worst restaurants Miami has to offer. Tahiti restaurant is a small only outdoors restaurant located in the Ocean Two building. It's nice to have a place where you can eat in your swim suit and put your feet in the sand. Now, let's get to the good stuff.... The food! For a beach restaurant or just for a restaurant, they have some of the best French food you'll taste in SFL. The owner and chef Pierre is a French native who brings you genuine and tasty food. You can have frog legs, mussels, steak tartAr, etc. they have a standard menu and their specials... You'll be lucky if they have their French Onion Soup and Steak Tartar on it! They're the best I can find in Fl. Add some wine & you'll be transferred to St. tropez or Barts! Enjoy!

Absolutely love this place. Barefoot from the beach, in bathing suits, and the most delicious food, great service. Fresh anchovies, french sausage, fish, crabs, HUGE salads with excellent produce, nice wines, fresh bread with olive oil and hot peppers. I love the casual atmosphere and the excellent quality. It is not cheap - but the huge salad you get for $18 or so is easily two meals. A real treat when we are in Sunny Isles..

The location is fantastic right on the beach the service is okay but the food is average. The tomato soup is like a marinara sauce, the salads are basic and the hamburger is flavorless. I could cook it better on my grill at home.

Not just another cafe on the beach! I was PLEASANTLY surprised by the food here! Thought it was going to be some lame place that pulls stuff out of the frig and throws it on a plate or unpackages some food and calls it their own. I actually think someone who knows how to cook is in the back. Great place to eat when you are the beach in sunny isles! They have dinner items like steak churrasco, seafood, pasta, etc and also sandwiches & salads as well as specials of the day. I went with today's special for an app which was lentil salad. I usually only like the lentil salads half of the time but this was one was actually excellent!! Cool lentils tossed in a vinaigrette of some sort topped on chopped lettuce and serviced with tomatoes, red onions, oil & balsamic. Large portion and ooohhh sooooo yummy! I would almost go there just to have these lentils. Also went with bagel & lox which was very fresh!! Its a little pricey here but I think its worth the food and view of the water. Don't expect much b/c the inside looks like an old tiny bar you might find on some island. I don't even think there are tables & chairs its soo small. But there are tables & chairs outside under umbrellas. Not much of a beach club here but for a moment you might think you are in Tahiti and worth stopping in.
